Rowland Family Resource Center Collaborates with Global Vision Technologies to Implement FAMCare Human Services Software

Friday, March 18, 2011

St. Louis, MO – March 16, 2011 – Global Vision Technologies (GVT), a leader in human services software for child welfare and social services, and Rowland Family Resource Center of La Puente, California officially announced the implementation of FAMCare, GVT’s human services software platform. FAMCare will be used to help Rowland deliver and track a vast array of services they provide to the youths and children in the Rowland school district.

The Family Resource Center offers a variety of no-cost programs and services to children, youth, and families who reside in the communities served by the Rowland Unified School District. The Rowland Community Closet for Children, mentoring programs, teen conferences and forums, Peer Promoters of Health, are just some of the important programs provided by the family resource center. The Family Resource Center gets federal funding for 2,300 students identified as homeless.

With FAMCare – Rowland Family Resource Center will be able to support the collection of data related to children and families – that are participating in their programs. FAMCare provides their team with affordable, web-based case management for tracking and reporting, but more importantly – a good foundation for measuring progress and outcomes.
