Part of our mission at GVT is to seek out and provide good, solid resource information that can help our clients and friends in their initiatives. 

Last October, we launched a pilot with a select group of users to test global vision technologies new mobile tech application with various users of FAMCare... our child welfare and juvenile justice software platform. Because of the resounding success of the program - the new application went LIVE last week.

After 11 years of intense scrutiny and randomized inspection visits - the Georgia department of juvenile justice has been released from federal oversight.  As a Georgia resident - this is fantastic news.  The recent audit goes on to say that juvenile access to mental health care services has been "exemplary" and is serving as a national model for other states.  Kudos to Georgia!

Good article to share - child welfare statistics for Missouri. It is becoming increasingly important to build an infrastructure that promotes collaboration and information sharing among stake holders, agencies and state and local municipalitites.
